This rattle is made from dyed black elk rawhide with a stick we gathered at the Sandy River in Oregon, sewn with magenta sinew and decorated with black & magenta deer suede, accented with rabbit fur. Corn is the traditional filling for these rattles. We also add sage for cleansing. As well as being a great sounding, fully functional rattle, this is an individual work of art. It measures about 16 1/2" in length.
