Make Your Own: 10" or 12" Deer, Elk or Horse Rawhide Manifestation Drum on a Maple Hoop, with Beater Kit
Drum kit for making your own Manifestation Drum. Includes 10" or 12" maple hoop, pre-cut and punched deer (light color), horse (dark color) or elk (medium color) drum head, matching lacing, a beater kit including beater head, sinew & willow stick, and full color detailed instructions.
This is one of my favorite drums to make. When the idea came to me, it insisted on being made, and who am I to refuse? It has nine holes with three groups of three lacings each -- "By the power of three times three, as I will, so mote it be!" It is a sweet drum which carries the energy of love and circulation in deer and resonates with the third eye in horse. The head is thin so that it can be played with either a beater or your hands & fingers. It has a high vibration with nice resonance. The sides of the drum are scalloped to reveal the beautiful maple wood frame. The energy is very strong in this drum.
This drum is designed to be small and lightweight , and is perfect for travel, using at your altar during ritual, starting your drumming practice or for a child's drum.
