This rattle is made from Deer rawhide on a beautifully sanded stick. I hand paint the symbol for the Sun God Ra, the right eye of the Falcon God Horus, in Black & Gold, or the left eye of Horus in Black & Silver. Corn is the traditional filling for these rattles, and all my rattles contain sage as well to keep the energy pure. The handle is wrapped with hand cut deer suede in the typically Egyptian colors of red, turquoise and gold for Ra or black, turquoise & white for Horus. Natural rabbit fur in a complimentary color enhances the decoration).
