This rattle made from deer, elk or horse rawhide with a stick I have gathered in sacred places I visit. It is approximately 5" across before sewing & stuffing. Corn is the traditional filling for these rattles. I also add sage for cleansing. As well as being a great sounding, fully functional rattle, this is an individual work of art. This rattle is custom made for you.
It is also available in a fancy version with a soft deer suede handle and rabbit fur (see example). We will reflect and enhance your sinew choice in our color choices for the handle. .
