Deer was a sacred food animal to our ancestors. It carries the energy of love and circulation and is cream to light brown in color. Horse has been used for journeying by many peoples in many times -- it's sound will take you places. It is golden brown to very dark brown. Elk is a medium brown and carries the energy of will and stamina. It is especially useful in working with childhood trauma issues.
