Make Your Own: Red Stag Deer Shamanic Rawhide Rattle Kit
This kit includes all the supplies you need to make your own shamanic style rawhide rattle. It includes a pre-cut and punched red stag deer rawhide head, a rough sanded stick in an appropriate size, your choice of colored or natural artificial sinew, polyfill stuffing and the corn/sage mix I use in my rattles. (You will need a needle with a large eye, glue and scissors). Full color instructions are included. Red Stag Deer rawhide is generally cream to light brown. Rattles really allow you freedom to create a personal tool for cleansing and healing. The head can be dyed before you sew the rattle, or painted after. Fillings can include not only the included corn but also semiprecious stones, bones, seeds or even bells. Your stick can be prepared with paint, carving, wood burning, stain, etc. I am offering these kits either with or without the stick in case you want to use your own.
