10" Deer Spirit Rawhide Shaman Drum on a Cedar Hoop (OUT OF STOCK)
Deer drums have excellent sustain with nice harmonics, with a mid-high to low tone depending on size and thickness. Because these drums are small, they tend to have a somewhat high timbre. The deer represents love and circulation and is aligned with the heart chakra.
These 10" Deer Rawhide drums are made on Cedar Hoops. They have a four directions handle with 12 lacings instead of the usual 16 because of the small size. We make each one for the person for whom it is intended and the climate in which it will live. Please allow time for this. If you have any special requests, be sure to let us know. A suede handle wrap is included.
A standard beater, color coordinated with your handle wrap, is included.
