Making Your Own European Style Drum: A Workshop

Date:  TBA
Location: Central Eastside, Portland, Oregon

Make your own 15" or 18" European style drum.  You may choose reindeer, horse or deer.  We supply all the materials and prepare your hide, hoop & pegs.  You are required only to bring a forked stick or antler for the drum handle, and another straight stick for your beater.  This is to give you some time and mindfulness in preparing to make your drum.  We will discuss both the left and right brain part of drum making, and you will be instructed in how to birth and care for your new drum.

Our first workshop was in October and the drums came out amazing!

Cost:  15" Horse or Deer Drum $200.00
       15" Reindeer Drum $300.00

18" Horse or Deer Drum $220.00
       18" Reindeer Drum $320.00

Deposit of 50% of the workshop fee is due by January 3rd, with the balance being due at the workshop.
